It provides a unified student dashboard that supports coursework, events, mentorship, and campus connections — designed to adapt to each institution’s needs.

Core Features:

  • Personalized dashboard with academic tools and reminders

  • Event discovery and campus engagement hub

  • Peer-to-peer mentorship network

  • Integrated wellness and productivity tools

  • Institutional customization and data privacy support

  • Design Process

1. Research & Insights

Conducted interviews with students and faculty to understand pain points around campus communication and productivity.
Identified the need for a holistic tool that bridges academics and community life.

2. Concept Development

Defined user flows and journey maps focused on simplicity and connection.

3. UI/UX Design

Designed low- to high-fidelity wireframes emphasizing clarity, accessibility, and modern visual identity.

4. Validation & Strategy

Collaborated with team members on MVP development, rollout strategy, and monetization models to ensure scalability.

CampusBuddy exists within the growing higher-education technology space, where institutions are increasingly investing in tools that support student engagement and retention.

The global learning management systems market is projected to reach $37.5B by 2028, underscoring the demand for scalable student-centered platforms.

  • Market Insights

  • Impact & Next Steps

The next phase of CampusBuddy focuses on validating the MVP through pilot programs with partner institutions and gathering student feedback to refine features that support engagement and retention.

Next Steps:

  • Pilot testing with select universities

  • Iteration based on student feedback

  • Exploration of institutional partnerships

  • Conclusion

This project strengthened my ability to design within complex systems and balance user needs with institutional constraints. It reinforced my belief that thoughtful digital experiences can support not only productivity, but also community and well-being.
